Rigid plank and large tiles need a flatter floor than carpet ever did. We grind high spots and pour self-leveling compound where needed so your new floor sits flat without hollow spots.

What about old vinyl that might contain asbestos?
Some vinyl flooring and adhesives installed before the 1980s can contain asbestos. If your floor might, it should be tested before removal. We will tell you if we suspect it and explain the next step.
