Tile is only as good as what is under it
Cracked tile and loose grout almost always come from the layer underneath: a bouncy subfloor, the wrong backer or thin-set that did not fully cover the tile. We stiffen and flatten the floor, use cement board or an uncoupling membrane where it is needed, and back-butter large tiles so they bond across their whole surface. Old tile on a mortar bed comes out as part of our floor removal service.
Layout you will notice for the right reasons
Before we mix any thin-set we dry-lay the pattern so cuts land at walls and cabinets instead of doorways, and so patterned tile lines up from room to room. Large-format tile gets a leveling system to prevent lippage at the edges.

Yes. We check that you have enough for cuts and waste (usually 10–15% extra, more for patterns) and whether the tile needs a specific thin-set.
Why do my old tiles keep cracking?
Usually the subfloor flexes or the tile was set without full thin-set coverage. We fix the cause during prep so the new tile does not crack the same way.
How long until I can walk on new tile?
Most floors can take light foot traffic the day after grouting. Heavy furniture and appliances should wait until the grout has cured, which we will confirm for your materials.
